The VERCOR Advantage

VERCOR is composed of experienced business advisors who offer a range of specialty skills, industry contacts, and professional credentials. With an international footprint, VERCOR is positioned to assist business owners across the country and internationally.

Key advantages of VERCOR include:

Proper Licensing

Fewer than 1% of business owners are aware the advisor they choose to help them sell their company is required to maintain a securities license if that advisor is to handle both asset and stock transactions. Since no one knows for sure what type of transaction your deal will be, make sure your advisor has a proper securities license. To complicate it further, most advisors themselves are not aware of the need for a securities license. If you use an advisor who does not have the proper license in place, your deal could be rescinded for up to three years from the date of the closing.

High Level of Resources

With international offices, VERCOR associates bring mid-sized businesses the kind of global resources usually available only in large transactions.

Wide Scope of Clients

Our extensive international databases combined with our broad industry experience maximizes the probability of finding the best possible buyer. In addition our wide focus insures we don't go back to the same buyers repeatedly which guards against becoming too "comfortable" with a small group of buyers and compromising our independence

Multi-Disciplined Credentials

VERCOR principals have entrepreneurial experience and offer a high degree of empathy and understanding to business owners. Additionally, our intermediaries have extensive professional credentials from a variety of collegiate, post-graduate, and professional institutions.

Attuned to Your Goals

We invest a substantial amount of time identifying your values and objectives during the pre-sale planning process. We strive to find buyers who meet your financial goals and offer the best synergy and cultural fit.

High Quality, Low Quantity Engagements

We purposely limit the number of clients to those that have a high probability of success. This allows us to focus on the unique needs of each client.
